The project Argonika was born online in the early 00s by female singer/songwriter Helga Eriksson and male sound designer/synths player Yuri Khonelidze. They were living in different parts of the world, so without the Internet they probably would not be able to finish what they had started on that grey winter afternoon, just some days after New Year's Eve.

Influenced by Jean Michel Jarre, Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Massive Attack and many other great bands, Argonika plays electronic music. The main idea is “mix, fuse and synthesize”. Their debut album, "Rainbow Hunter", is a mixture of styles, containing elements of synth pop, chillout, psyhedelic, electro, trip-hop, and even industrial.

The album "Rainbow Hunter" was recorded at 1000 Tracks Studio, Moscow, Russia in 2003-2004.

With the release of this album the band takes the opportunity to express heartfelt thanks to their friends and to everyone who supported the project.
